About Us
Founded in 1997 by Lisa and Chris Bright, Earth Sangha is a nonprofit public charity based in the Washington, DC, region. Our mission is ecological restoration as a form of socially engaged Buddhism. Our work is secular and science-based.

Wild Plant Nursery

The Wild Plant Nursery is the region's most comprehensive source of local-ecotype, native plants.
Tree Bank Hispaniola
Conservation and agroecological program along the Dominican Republic – Haiti border.
Tree Bank Panama
Works with the Naso people in northwestern Panama to improve livelihoods and conserve forests.
Volunteer
